Role: Junior .NET C# Software Developer

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire

Salary: £25,000 – £30000 + Benefits

The Role:

This is an interesting and challenging role for a Junior .NET C# Software Developer within a company offering career development and progression! You will assist senior developers in developing components for the company’s next-generation software; you will work with 3rd party suppliers and APIs to integrate the company’s platform with other systems and tools and you will investigate and resolve issues escalated by the technical support team on their existing platform.

Key Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or solid, proven .NET C# development experience
1+ years developing software on the Microsoft platform (ASP.NET or Windows Forms, C#, SQL Server) in a multi-tiered architecture, experience with Git source control
OR
Have recently graduated from a Computer Science or related field, with a knowledge of .NET, C# and principles of object-oriented software development, and demonstrate an enthusiasm and passion for software development
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, self-starter with strong self-management and time-management skills
Essential skills: C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, SQL (including T-SQL) and XML
